Exciting news!
We now offer shockwave therapy, a non-invasive and highly effective method that can help with long-standing tendon and muscle issues. This is especially relevant if traditional rehabilitation has not provided the desired results.
What is shockwave therapy?
Shockwave therapy, also known as ESWT (Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy), is a well-documented treatment method that stimulates the body’s natural healing processes. The treatment involves short, high-energy pulses applied to the affected area.
Benefits may include:
Increased blood flow
Stimulation of tendon healing
Pain reduction in chronic areas that often remain “stuck”
Many patients experience significant improvement after just a few sessions, with less pain and better function as a result.
Which conditions can be treated?
Shockwave therapy is suitable for long-term and chronic conditions, such as:
Heel spur / plantar fasciitis – pain under the heel or foot
Achilles issues – chronic pain or tendon inflammation
Tennis / golf elbow – pain on the side of the elbow
Trochanter / gluteal tendinopathy – hip and buttock pain
Jumper’s knee – pain in the kneecap tendon
Chronic shoulder inflammation – e.g., impingement syndrome, bursitis, etc.
These conditions can often be difficult to resolve with traditional methods, and shockwave therapy can be a new, non-surgical, and effective alternative.

For the time being, Ann-Kristin is the one providing shockwave therapy at our clinic.
