Zaneta Adamikova

Physiotherapist, muscle therapist and addiction specialist

Zaneta is a qualified physiotherapist from Charles University in Prague (graduated in 2017), and has extensive work experience from both private practice and hospitals.

She also has a master's degree in addictology (specialization in substance abuse treatment).

In Norway, she has worked in private practice since 2021 and in 2024/2025 she completed a practice in the surgical department at Haukeland Hospital and in Årdal Municipality where she worked with various patient groups.

Through a number of different courses and further education, Zaneta has developed a holistic view of humanity and an individual approach to each person. She places great emphasis on listening, mapping the situation and understanding the underlying causes of the patient's ailments. Based on this, she develops a targeted treatment plan that combines manual therapy with functional training.

Zaneta also has further training in visceral manipulation - a form of treatment aimed at internal organs and functional digestive disorders, including e.g. gastroesophageal reflux (acid reflux), IBS, postoperative problems. In addition, she has delved into women's health and has taken several courses in physiotherapy for women, including those aimed at the pelvic floor, menstruation pain, incontinence problems, functional sterility and postpartum rehabilitation.

In her therapy, Zaneta uses various techniques, including massage, trigger point therapy, mobilization, connective tissue therapy and targeted exercises mainly based on the neuromotor development principle (DNS concept). She also has extensive experience with manual lymphatic drainage.
