Ann-Kristin Hatlevik
Physiotherapist and ParkinsonNet therapist
Ann-Kristin Hatlevik is a physiotherapist educated from the University College of Western Norway and has extensive experience with both acute and long-term musculoskeletal disorders. She has worked with a wide range of patient groups and diagnoses, and has particular expertise in neurological rehabilitation, especially after stroke.
Training and sports injuries are an important field of interest for Ann-Kristin, and she has a good understanding of strain-related ailments in both exercisers and athletes. She is interested in injury prevention and functional training, and actively uses training-based approaches in treatment.
Ann-Kristin has special expertise in exercise for Parkinson's disease. She is affiliated with the national ParkinsonNet and is an instructor for our group program for people with Parkinson's. She also has experience with fall prevention training and physiotherapy aimed at the elderly patient group.
Ann-Kristin has previously worked intensively with heart and lung conditions, including rehabilitation after heart attacks and physiotherapy for COPD.
During the first consultation, she emphasizes a thorough assessment and examination to gain insight into both your symptoms and your life situation. An individually tailored treatment plan is then designed in collaboration with you, based on your goals, needs, and circumstances.
